The larger sized ovoid is HETAS approved for closed and open appliances, furthermore authorised for use in smoke controlled zones. Due to the makeup of the Coalite Ovals they have an extremely high heat output whilst retaining the sought after extended burn duration. It is not unusual for Coalite ovals to slow burn comfortably for fifteen hours with a lively flame.
