Coalite ovals are our largest briquette and have a long burn duration. The premium product has been designed for open fires, room heaters and multifuel stoves. Coalite Ovals are HETAS approved for open and closed appliances and authorised for use in smoke control areas by DEFRA. The fire established in 20 minutes and Coalite Ovals were set to slumber on a multifuel stove and stayed alight for eighteen hours. The ovals burn for up to 41% longer than house coal, generate up to 81% less smoke than house coal and produce up to 20% less CO2 than house coal.

Maxibrite is a small anthracite based ovoid, which is ideal on closed appliances, room heaters, multifuel stoves, boilers and is AGA approved. Maxibrite is HETAS approved and authorised for use in smoke control areas. The fire established in fifteen minutes and Maxibrite gave a high heat output and clean burn, with no staining of the glass.

Maxiheat is suitable for open fires, it can be used on closed appliances but care must be taken due to the high heat output. The briquette is a medium sized petcoke briquette and produces very high heat and low ash. Unlike most petcoke briquettes it stores well. It is not HETAS approved and not approved for use in smoke controlled areas. The fire established in ten minutes and gave a very high heat output with very low ash.

Coalite Newflame plus is a premium multipurpose fuel which is suitable for use on open fires, room heaters and multifuel stoves. Coalite Newflame Plus is HETAS approved for open and closed appliances and authorised for use in smoke control areas by DEFRA. The fire established in fifteen minutes and the burn time was 6 ½ hours. Coalite Newflame Plus typically burns for up to 40% longer than coal, producing up to 20% less CO2 than coal and producing 80% less smoke than coal.

Mixed ovoid are a mixture of all our briquettes and are suitable for open fires, room heaters and multifuel stoves. The product is a blend of HETAS approved/smokeless briquettes and Maxiheat. The fire established in fifteen minutes and the ovoids gave a very good through burn. The differing shapes and blends complemented each other and giving good heat output.
